Occupational health and safety is an interdisciplinary field. The project is carried out through the collaboration of researchers from OHS, Educational Technologies and Primary Education.

Prof. Dr. Sezgin AYGÜN

Alongside his academic career in the Department of Physics, he has been a certified (Class C) occupational safety specialist since 2015. He completed his master’s degree in Occupational Safety in 2017 and has taught OHS courses in the Department of Occupational Health and Safety since 2018. Since 2021 he has held the “Workplace Physician and Occupational Safety Specialist Trainer” certificate of the Ministry of Labour and Social Security.

Prof. Dr. Veysel DEMİRER

Department of Educational Sciences
He completed his undergraduate studies in Computer Education and Instructional Technology, and his master’s and doctoral studies in Curriculum and Instruction. A substantial part of his work focuses on augmented reality in education. He contributes to the project with his expertise in educational technologies.

Assoc. Prof. Dr. Hanife ESEN AYGÜN

Department of Primary Education
She completed her undergraduate and master’s studies in Primary School Teaching and her doctorate in Educational Sciences. She has numerous studies on curriculum development in primary education and contributes to the project by combining her expertise in primary education and in curriculum and instruction.
Scholarship holders
Two scholarship holders take part in the project. In line with the Twelfth Development Plan’s emphasis on developing human resources that produce technology in Turkey, two postgraduate researchers — one in Occupational Health and Safety and one in Educational Technologies — are planned to take part as scholarship holders.
